Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers, before you enroll.

Everything about the program, the craft, certification, ethics, and enrollment — in plain language.

The Program
What exactly is Generative Photography?

It's a live, eight-week certification that teaches you to produce commercial-grade photography with AI — studio, location, street, cinematic, and product work brands actually pay for. You learn the Generative Director Method: directing frame, subject, light, camera, surface, and grade instead of gambling on prompts.

How is the program structured?

Six live sessions taught weekly, each with a downloadable workbook and a hands-on assignment between sessions. Every session is recorded, and cohorts are capped at 20 so you get real attention on calls and in the community.

How much time does it take each week?

Plan for one live session per week plus an assignment between sessions across the six live weeks, then about two more weeks to complete and submit your final project and capstone — eight weeks total. If you miss a live class, every session is recorded so you can catch up.

Will an asynchronous (on-demand) course be offered?

We're actively building the material to support an on-demand version of the program. More details will be shared in our Blog and weekly newsletter — sign up to be the first to know.

Skills & Requirements
Do I need a camera, a studio, or a photography background?

Not at all. You need a laptop, an internet connection, and a willingness to learn to use AI to generate commercial-grade photos. The craft is learnable through our proven method — geared for both newcomers to AI and those already generating who are ready to take their skills to the next level.

I already use AI image tools. Is this too basic for me?

No. Most people plateau because they prompt by trial and error; this program replaces that with deliberate direction — lighting setups, character references, camera language, and grade. If you're already generating, this is how you make the jump to consistent, sellable, on-brand work.

Which tools will I learn?

The method is tool-agnostic and taught on today's leading generative platforms, with an emphasis on directing them rather than memorizing one interface. As models change, the method carries over — so your skills don't expire when a tool updates.

The Industry & Your Career
What is the current demand for Generative Photographers?

Demand is climbing fast. Nearly half of marketers already use AI to create images and video, freelance demand for AI skills grew 109% year-over-year (Upwork, 2026), and the generative-AI marketing market is projected to grow from roughly $1.6B in 2024 to over $22B by 2033. Credible, skilled providers are still rare — which is exactly the opportunity.

Can I actually get paid for this?

Yes. Marketers and brands are already spending on generative imagery for their campaigns, and there's unmet demand from business owners who can't afford professional photographers but will pay for high-quality custom work. The program covers the types of imagery in demand and how to package and deliver client-ready files.

Will AI take over jobs in the industry?

AI is shifting the work, not erasing it — brands still need people with taste and direction to make images that actually sell. Demand is moving toward skilled operators who can direct AI, which is exactly what this program builds. Being early and skilled is the advantage.

What can AI do vs. not do when it comes to Generative Photography?

AI can produce studio, location, product, and editorial imagery at a fraction of traditional cost and time, and refresh it on demand. What it can't do on its own is supply the creative direction — the lighting, framing, and brand judgment that separate sellable work from obvious "slop." That direction is the skill you're paying for, and the skill we teach.

Ethics & Commercial Use
How can AI be used ethically in professional fields using Generative AI?

We teach disclosure where it matters, respect for real people's likeness and consent, and avoidance of deceptive or misleading use. You'll learn to use character references and source assets responsibly and to keep client work honest about what's generated. Ethics is built into the method, not an afterthought.

Are the tools and methods I learn cleared for commercial use?

We teach with tools that offer commercial-use terms, and we cover how to check licensing and usage rights so your deliverables are client-safe. Terms vary by platform and plan, so we show you how to confirm rights for any tool you use. You'll leave knowing how to keep your work commercially clean.

Certification, Enrollment & Refunds
Am I really getting certified after the course and final capstone project?

Yes. After the six live weeks you complete a written submission and a capstone project, and on passing you receive a Generative Photographer certification from our third-party partner with a unique ID you can share. It's a real credential, not a completion badge.

What does enrollment cost?

Enrollment is $1,299, or $1,169 with the 10% direct-enrollment discount when you register directly. See the Enroll page for the full breakdown of what's included.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Join the first live session and fully attempt your first assignment. If within 7 days you don't feel the program is right for you, we'll refund your enrollment — no questions asked. Please review and follow our Refund Policy; the guarantee requires attending the first class live (not the recording).
